Who is Dolly?

UPDATE! READ THIS! Thank you Game Dog Guardian for your article on “bait dogs.” While we wish we could go back and change our term, deeming Dolly a “bait dog,” we unfortunately cannot change the video now that it’s been published. While we do however believe Dolly was involved in some sort of “dog fight operation,” the authorities have unfortunately deemed there is insufficient evidence to prosecute the people involved. Regardless of where she was or what actually happened to her, we now refer to her as a victim of cruelty rather than a “bait dog.”

Since then, Dolly has been one busy dog! She’s got her very own Facebook page in which she has over 7,000 international followers. She was invited to meet Pit Boss, Shorty Rossi and his dog Hercules at an event held by Pinups for Pitbulls. She’s been featured in American Dog Magazine, not once, not twice, but three times! She even won an award from American Dog Magazine for Spokesdog for a Charitable Cause. Dolly was invited to walk the red carpet at the Beyond the Myth premiere in Tampa, FL. Our proudest moment was when Dolly was invited by Best Friends Animal Society to attend a committee meeting for Senate Bill 722 which passed and was signed into law on June 21st, 2011. Dolly and Erica were fortunate enough to meet Senators as well as Representatives from various areas in Florida. In January 2011, we decided to start an organization in Dolly’s honor. Our goal is to Rescue, Educate, and Advocate for the breed we know and love.
